OTAKI HERB GARDEN is a place where plants are woven into daily life and relationships with them are cultivated. As you move through the garden, greenhouse, food, and learning spaces, we invite you to slowly enjoy a day shaped by plants.

Please note:
Parking is available free of charge.
Annual pass holders may enter the garden at any time during the open season.
Residents of Ōtaki Town are asked to present a valid ID showing proof of address.

GUESTS WITH PETS犬同伴でご来園の方へ

At OTAKI HERB GARDEN, only dogs are permitted to enter with visitors. To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, please review the following guidelines.

Please Review and Prepare in Advance
— Please sign the consent form upon entry.
— Only dogs that have received necessary health care, including rabies vaccination, are permitted.
— Please ensure your dog wears appropriate manners wear while inside the facility.
— Please take all waste and trash home with you.
— Some plants in the greenhouse are toxic to dogs, Please note that some areas do not allow walking with dogs.
— Owners must accompany their dogs at all times and must not leave them unattended.
— Entry or continued stay may be refused if there is any risk posed to other guests, dogs, or plants.

By Public Transportation
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Sotobo Line to Mobara Station (approximately 90 minutes). From the South Exit of Mobara Station, take the Kominato Railway bus bound for “Ōtaki Shako” (Ōtaki Depot) for about 31 minutes. Get off at “Odoro” and walk a short distance.

By Car
From Ken-O Expressway Ichihara-Tsurumai IC, it is approximately 11 km via Route 297, about 20 minutes by car.

About the Plants
— Please do not touch or collect any plants.
— Photography is permitted, but touching plants or collecting them without permission is prohibited.
— Do not enter restricted areas.

About Pets
— Only dogs are permitted.
— There are designated areas where pets are allowed and areas where they are not. Please refer to the garden map for details.
— An admission fee of ¥300 per dog is required. (Free until March 31, 2026)
— Pets are not allowed to relieve themselves within the garden. Pet diapers are required at all times.
— Upon entry, you will be asked to sign a consent form regarding your pet’s vaccination status.
— Service dogs are permitted.

About Bringing Items and Other Activities
— Bringing in food and drinks is generally not permitted, except in special circumstances.
— The use of fire, as well as bringing in or flying drones or other small unmanned aircraft, is prohibited.
— Please refrain from any behavior that may disturb other guests.

  • Q予約は必要ですか？
  • A通常のご入苑は予約不要です。混雑時はご入場までにお時間をいただく場合がございます。
  • Q入場料はいくらですか？
  • A大人500円、こども300円、犬の入場は無料です。（※3/31までのプレオープン期間料金）
  • Q年間パスポートはありますか？
  • Aはい、年間パスポートを2800円でご用意しています。開苑期間中、何度でもご入苑いただけます。
  • Q駐車場はありますか？
  • Aはい、一般車両120台駐車いただけます。駐車料はかかりません。
  • Q場内で落とし物をしてしまいました。どうすればよいですか？
  • ACONTACT、メールにてご連絡をお願い致します。貴重品を除き、落とし物の保管期間は1ヶ月となります。
  • Qペットを連れて入場はできますか？
  • A犬のみご入場可能です。 同伴で入れるエリアには制限を設けております。詳しくは場内マップをご覧ください。
  • Q場内で飲食はできますか？
  • A場内には食堂があり、飲食をお楽しみいただけます。
    なお、飲食物の持ち込みは 原則としてご遠慮ください。
    離乳食や栄養補助食品など、特別なご事情がある場合はこの限りではありません。
  • Q授乳やおむつ替えができるスペースはありますか？
  • A授乳専用のスペースはございません。
    おむつ替えは、トイレの交換台をご利用ください。
    ご不明な点があれば、受付スタッフまでお声がけください。
  • Q場内でベビーカー、または車椅子の利用は可能ですか？
  • Aご利用いただけますが、場内には段差や舗装されていないエリアが多数ありますので、あらかじめご了承ください。
  • Q植物に触れても大丈夫ですか？
  • A観察は歓迎していますが、植物に触れることはできるだけお控えください。
    植物の生育環境を守るため、ご理解をお願いいたします。
  • Q花が咲いていない時期でも楽しめますか？
  • Aはい、季節を問わずお楽しみいただけます。
    花だけでなく、葉や樹形、香りなども見どころのひとつです。
  • Qここで育てている植物はすべてハーブですか？
  • Aハーブを中心に、人の暮らしと関わってきたさまざまな有用植物を育てています。
  • Q植物の名前や背景を知ることはできますか？
  • Aはい、苑内スタッフにお気軽にお声がけください。
    植物図鑑も準備を進めております。
  • Q専門的な知識がなくても楽しめますか？
  • Aはい、専門的な知識がなくてもお楽しみいただけます。
    ご自身のペースで場内をご覧ください。
  • Qハーブを採って持ち帰ることはできますか？
  • A植物や野菜の採集は禁止させていただいております。不定期で収穫体験なども行っております。
  • Q場内で採取した生き物は持ち帰っても良いですか？
  • Aいいえ。環境保護の観点からお持ち帰りはご遠慮いただいております。
  • Qカフェ&レストランのみの利用では入場料がかかりますか？
  • Aカフェ&レストランのみのご利用の場合でも、入場料が必要です。入場チケットをご購入のうえ、ご利用ください。
  • Q再入場はできますか？
  • A原則として、当日に限り再入場していただけます。
  • Q雨の日でも楽しめますか？
  • Aはい。温室や施設内のカフェ&レストランをお楽しみいただけます。
  • Q所要時間はどのくらいですか？
  • Aご見学の目安は1時間程度です。場内をゆっくり巡ったり、カフェをご利用される場合は、もう少し余裕を持ってお越しください。
  • Q混雑しやすい時間帯はありますか？
  • A混雑状況は日によって異なりますが、11時〜15時頃 は比較的混み合う場合があります。
    落ち着いてご覧になりたい方は、午前中のご来苑がおすすめです。
  • Q当日券は購入できますか？
  • Aはい、当日券は場内の受付にてご購入いただけます。
  • Q大多喜町民割引はどのように確認されますか？
  • A受付にて、住所が確認できる身分証明書をご提示ください。
  • Q団体での来苑は可能ですか？
  • Aはい、可能です。20名様以上でのご来場の場合は、事前にご連絡をお願いいたします。
  • Q写真撮影は自由にできますか？
  • Aはい、個人で楽しむ目的での写真撮影は可能です。
    商用利用を目的とした撮影については、事前にお問い合わせください。
  • Q三脚や自撮り棒は使用できますか？
  • A安全管理および他のお客様への配慮のため、
    三脚や自撮り棒の使用はご遠慮いただいています。

  • A定期的に開催するガイドツアーの準備を進めております。

  • Aはい、季節ごとに異なる植物をご覧いただけます。
    特に「アウトドアリビング（外庭）※2026/4/1 オープン」では、日本の四季を感じながらお楽しみいただけます。

  • Aはい、場内スタッフにお気軽にお声がけください。
    植物図鑑も準備を進めております。
  • Qベビーカーを預ける場所はありますか？
  • Aはい、受付付近に置き場を設けておりますので、ご利用ください。盗難や取り間違いにご注意ください。
